Guys,

Sorry if its the wrong section etc etc, but I thought you guys might have some experience. Order a E2773HDS over a week ago which has no faults at all and is intact a very good monitor for gaming, but it doesn't really suit my requirements.

I have all the packaging, box etc etc, but rather foolishly I removed the plastic surrounding the monitor. I ordered it just over a week ago. Does any one know if I am able to return this or has my removal of the plastic wrapping void this? Would OCUK take it back in exchange for another monitor? My only alternative would be to resell on.

Thanks if you can help

so he should only pay for delivery back to the shop - no questions asked from the retailer? even though it was opened?

I have sent OCUK an RMA web note. I await their reply. Thanks for your input, i thought some of you guys might of had to do this before. Buying a monitor is bloody hard online, you have no idea what it will be like until it comes. Like I say there is nothing wrong with this display its just its relatively low resolution is extremely apparent to me and doesn't suit me at all.

Perhaps a glassed Hazro?

just to confirm - the retailer has no choice but to issue a refund?

it's just that I'm buying a new monitor and this info would help.

Perhaps a glassed Hazro?
Go for the non glass and here is why,

No dust accumilation problems (pretty much a given that it will happen at some point in time)
No glass panel that might slowly shift position
No glass that can shatter during transport
Less reflections (it's still glossy) - I've seen more than one person post that they liked their non-glass replacement more than the glas version.
---
The glass model will be discontued soon due to the dust problem. Basically the glass can cause nothing but problems and it does nothing for the image quality.

Thanks for the tip. Is the non glass version a matted finish? (hopefully not) I've noticed they are currently out of stock :/

Be interesting to hear ocuks reply I hope they are will I've spent a small fortune with them recently.
