Hey All,

after nearly 10 years I'm returning to PC gaming, other then the odd retro game I haven't gamed properly on a PC in a very long time as I've managed the PS3/PS4.

New PC is spec i5 6400, GTX970 & 8GB ram although I'm hoping that should run all but the top games is decent style max 1080p on my TV.

a couple of questions id like answering if possible :)

is it safe buying steam codes off digital retailers and eBay? after loving Dark souls on PS3 I want to go back and enjoy the original in 1080p and its £20 on steam but its only £8 on eBay... is this safe and within steams policy's?

do KOTOR/KOTOR 2 hold up gameplay and graphically?, I've joined in with the recent star wars buzz and would like to play through a full story or would Star Wars: The Old Republic be a better option?

any recommendations to make me feel justified in my purchase that will show me a game much better then my PS4 will do for me, I have played most of the big titles that interest me but is there something Microsoft/PC exclusive I've missed out on the past few years?

I now need to build up a decent steam library it seems :) I also have a windows 10 tablet that I'm hoping I can stream too when the TV is being used but I have no idea how well it will work/if at all

Hey All,

after nearly 10 years I'm returning to PC gaming, other then the odd retro game I haven't gamed properly on a PC in a very long time as I've managed the PS3/PS4. Welcome back

Should be fine ^^ Might need to lower a few settings down on a few of the newer games.

Ebay, im going to say no as it's a scamfest. G2A/play and such like Kinguin are fine. Here is a thread of daily pc deals

Don't know this sorry not played them as don't really enjoy starwars games.

any recommendations to make me feel justified in my purchase that will show me a game much better then my PS4 will do for me, I have played most of the big titles that interest me but is there something Microsoft/PC exclusive I've missed out on the past few years?

Graphically Ryse son of rome, stuff like skyrim modded, the witcher 3. I assure you though any game you can get on console is a lot better on pc :)

I now need to build up a decent steam library it seems :) I also have a windows 10 tablet that I'm hoping I can stream too when the TV is being used but I have no idea how well it will work/if at all

I will give you a helping hand as a welcoming back to the PCMR please check that your ocuk trust email is still correct and i will email you something :).

If you're into Star Wars games and you haven't already played it then Star Wars the Force Unleashed is a decent game with an awesome story set in between episode 3 and 4. A must for any Star Wars fan.
