returns policy 0n 360's ( from competitor )

Obviously I won't name the high street retailer but I purchased a 360 in april, got it replaced in may ( due to disc scratching ) now last nite had 3 lock ups while thp8 demo, not sure if it is related to heat ( ambient temp of the room was quite high ) or the fact that it was a demo but it was the first time it happened.
Does anyone know what my rights are in getting a replacement from the retailer ( i cant find my receipt ) i have all the packing which still retains the shops pricing sticker and barcode , i don't want to have to go through microsoft, it's to close to xmas. thanx

lol you mentioned the competitor.. or atleast i would have said you did.
 
I think you will be ok getting it changed. It's traceable from your points card. Is it worth worrying though this close to xmas if it's just a demo game it's doing it on?

well guys got my exchange today, a lovely shiny new 360. Has anyone realised the small cosmetic differences between launch models and the later ones, the grey plastic finish on the bottom of the controller is dull matt grey instead of the metallic plastic on the earlier models the same goes for the hard drive.
