HIS ATI Radeon HD 6570 IceQ 1024MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card , i brought today out of overclockers from the shop, it costs me about 20 odd quid in taxis to get there as dont drive but dont trust online shopin as have bad things happen. anyway me problem is that i put the card in and after a hour or so im getting bsod pc freezes ( i know its only a cheap card but i only brought it for play 1080p movies to me tv which its fine for and do a bit of photo editing),so ive tryed it in daughters pc up stairs and same thing happens it could be on ten mins or 2.30 hours it took at one point and her pc blue screened the same, (totallay unclocked pc works fine with old 5 seriers card in)the card is defo faulty as etheir my pc or daughters pc dont blue screen untill using this card, put latest drivers in from amd so its not that just think the cards overheating or somit,ya can run windows assment and it works fine even tryed 3d mark on it and its ran the tests.
do ya think overclockers if i take it back shop will swap card easy enough as the problem is random ive ran the card over 2 hours fine then it will just bs watchin a blu ray or it could do it after 10 mins as i know they test things but with it being random could be on for hours before frezzes but dont want waste another 25 quid on taxis, with what ive paid today for taxis its the same price as card as its only 60 quid new lol:rolleyes:

did you install the card using the drivers off the disc??? or download the latest drivers from the ati website?

He said he put on the latest drivers from AMD, which sounds like he got them off the site.

How old is the card? You can probably return it under DSR. Either that or try a different batch of drivers. Is there anything in particular that causes the BSOD or is it just random?
