Anyone else pick this up today? Was released on Steam and other major online distributors, and it is really really good fun! Only got to put 2hours into it (was a few hiccups with Steam unlocking it properly), but I can't wait to be able to jump back in! Currently on steam for £6.29

Reus is a god game by Abbey Games in which you take control of nature through the hands of mighty giants. You possess all imaginable powers over nature! There is only one thing on the planet that you do not control: mankind, with all their virtues and and all their vices. You can shape their world, but not their will. It’s your responsibility to maintain a balance in which man is not overpowered by nature, and nature does not fall to man’s greed.

Unique god game gameplay with several ancient giants at your command.
An interesting 2D art style from a perspective rarely found in god games.
Dynamic and immersive audio effects.
A powerful soundtrack that fits the theme.
Intricate gameplay, where humanity depends on your power while challenging it at the same time.
"Let your giants decide the fate of humanity."

Quirky, it's a bit like an interactive jigsaw where pieces slot together.

Looks great, but it's no Populous!

I was a Sat' night impulse buy, a bit like "Don't Starve" I'll play it for an hour, maybe two and that's me done.

Pretty much sums up my last 10-20 Steam purchases.

anyone know if the only way to stop other villages spawning would be to destroy them as they spawn? or is there a way to stop them even setting up shop
