Reuse cooler?

I've just upgraded my system to an 2700x using the stock prism.

My old system was an i5 4960k but I had a corsair h75 which I presume is a bit better than the prism?

I also have no receipts, no box, no other spares, nothing other than the cooler sitting on my i5, so if I have to email corsair I'm probably not going to get very far.

I've looked and OCUK used to sell the am4 bracket but its now showing as discontinued and it also doesnt appear that a backplate was included, my question is: is the back plate generic and I can reuse the one currently attached to the mobo or do I need one of those as well?

Is this cooler much better than the prism and worth the hassle to source the AM4 kit (money is a bit tight to re-buy a whole other aio cooler)

Isn't the H75 a Asetek built unit? If so then this should be what you need. I believe it just screws onto the existing stock motherboard backplate. One of the reviews state that it fits Corsair units as well.
