Reusing a Noctua NH-U9B SE2 for Ryzen

As per title folks.
I'm planning to slowly upgrade to Zen 2, but to save a bit of money I was wondering if I could use my current CPU cooler with an AM4 kit. Would it be up to the task being an older cooler or should I upgrade the cooler too?
Opinions please.

Not clued up on Ryzen, but i suppose it would depend on what CPU you get.

If you can get the mounting kit for free, you may as well try it.

Likely workable for six core, but it's really not up to cooling higher end models.
It's never been high end cooler, just compact cooler.
