I've found "user review" of MSI R9 390 here:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...89-MS&tool=3&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=3059

"Awesome value - plays anything (june 201
I upgraded from SLI 780's, and this single gpu plays everything brilliantly. I have GTA5 on Very High @ 1080p, Thief 2014 on max @ 1080p.

The card is also very quiet, even during this heatwave (july 2015).

Love the looks, and for the price I think I'll get another!"

Somebody might say "it's just conclusion that single card works briliantlly as well and there's no need do use mGPU". I ask: why to intend to buy another one ? ;-)

2 cards would allow to use 1440P/4K at good framerates. Overall would be a bit faster than a 980Ti for about the same price. I think you can get a 390 for £250 or less which makes it the best band for buck card but not sure about this MSI though..
