When everything is connected (not in the next week, so not a rush) I will run a test and flush at the same time to make sure everyhing is sealed, there are no leaks ect.

My question is, is RO or Reverse Osmosis water ok for this? I have an RO unit at home that isnt doing anything atm which produces a lovely 0 TDS... not to mention the 20 litres I have sitting in a container at the moment (need to dump this actually).

i would just pickup a tank of distilled water from asda for £2 and not think about it twice. RO is a purification method but what you want is deionised water as the ions are the ones that can create residues.

And cause corrosion. Plus the RO water is free, and I dont have to get to an Asda

RO will be fine, as is deionised or distilled water. I'd still use a corrosion inhibitor in all 3 though, as even the purest water is still corrosive to copper/nickel.

EDIT: i just noticed you said you were just going to use it to flush the system, in which case any water is fine, even tap water.
