I just got one which was designed to go in place of the cover of one of the rear number plate lights (but doesn't block it out). Don't remember what brand it was but it seems to do the job - it integrates nicely with the OEM system since it has an input for it and it had to be NTSC. I think I just searched amazon/ebay for one that would physically fit and had the right connector.
It sort of depends on whether your car had an OEM option for this to fit it or whether it is completely aftermarket.
Yes, went with mostly used OE parts off ebay, on 2006 Audi A8 was about £400 as the chinese cameras didn't work with the OE system, turned out I needed LVDS output not composite video so had to cange the number plate light holder, paint it, new boot lid rubber handle, and original SONY camera. The projectory lines move with steering and there are two modes, bay and parallel.
The original graphics that were full screen are now shown superimposed on the left hand side.
It also required calibrating with VCDS and a large A1 printed pair of dominoes!
I have an aftermarket one to go with after market Android HU - Cost about 25 quid but only place I could put it was in center of rear bumper - Anyone who has had a Focus knows as soon as it rains the rear of car is covered in mud.
Only problem I have is both Android HU (one broke) show the guide lines going up at quite an angle so they get in way of view you get so turned them off - just use it now to make sure there are no kids behind me. - They don't move with the steering wheel either - (Guide lines) . Don't think I would do it again on any car I buy unless it was pre wired.
