Hi guys

After buying my motorhome on Friday (which is awesome ) I need to get a reversing camera fitted so I can manouvre the thing.

Anybody know if there's ones where you can put another input into the screen? Was thinking that I could get a decent sized screen up front that could then double up as a TV.

Hi guys

After buying my motorhome on Friday (which is awesome ) I need to get a reversing camera fitted so I can manoeuvre the thing.

Go and find an empty car park, mark out some "parking bays", place an empty box or traffic cone at the end of it and simply practice.

You'll soon get the "feel" for the size of the thing, something you'll need to be aware of when driving it about and getting in & out of places.

If you really need parking sensors and / or a reversing camera, imo you should not be driving such a relatively large vehicle.

Sorry if that comes across as a bit blunt! :o

You reckon

A power cable and a signal cable to the camera, I wouldn't say that was complex personally, a head unit is harder to connect up.

It looks to me like it replaces the rear view mirror. So to not have a power cable trailing down in front of the windscreen its gonna have to go into the roof and be routed down the side no?

Oh that's just their serving suggestion. I'd have it in my centre console because yes, the cables would have to go inside the A pillar otherwise which would indeed be awkward.

Thing is, I'd like that screen but have no need for a reversing camera, so what I'd connect to I don't know :D

Haha ok true, whip it out every time you went to reverse :p

Do this.
It will help when you have to manuoevre any time you have restricted room, not just when you're parking.
