Hey guys,
This may sounds rather stupid; but I can't seem to get windows to realize I only have one monitor. For the last year or so I've been running a dual monitor setup, word open on the right and winamp on the left. However, having moved back home for the holidays I could only bring one monitor back. My issue is that when I try to open winamp the computer opens the program where the other monitor should be.
Furthermore, under the windows screen resolution settings, it has monitor 1 & then "another display not detected" rather than just showing a single display. Can anyone tell me how to get windows running back on a single monitor?
I've tried WinKey + P and selecting computer only, but that doesn't make any difference.
Cheers!

I've had a similar problem. Try this.

Shut down the computer fully. Remove any screen connection. Power the machine on without screen attached and listen out for the Windows login screen sound to play. Then plug your monitor back into its port.

Simple solutions but usually on/off method works when it comes to graphics and hardware.

Sorry for my late response & thanks for your response.
Unfortunately this still hasn't solved the issue :( any other ideas?
Cheers
