Both my Laptop and PC have finally kicked the bucket after years of service and I need to something to replace it.

I'e been considering the following ATX build. Anyone any recommendations for improvements without going over £1000 or thoughts on the build?

A R9 390 is as fast as a GTX970.

A better quality PSU, the CX range from Corsair are very "charity".

just for advice. You can get windows 10 keys for £20. If you have a spare laptop available to put the windows 10 iso on usb. Which you can download from windows website. Would give you the same £60 for a 390x instead of a 390. Just a thought.

Unless you can utilise your old windows key instead?

I just recalled I've an Ubuntu Server kick around with an old Win7 key that i can use.

Any particular brand you would recommend for a 390x? Something that hopefully doesnt have a noisy fan or likely to overhead. I was thinking of the following
