Hello, after getting some advice to RMA my i5 chip, i am now waiting for it to be repaired/replaced, and wanting to move back to ATX (from mATX).

Will be putting an: i5, 5850, 520w corsair psu with these items

Will be intalling Win7 fresh so i thought i might pick up an SSD with the new items. I think the UD3R should give the c300 full sata 3 and have xmp for the ocz reaper, right:confused:
Not sure if i should go for the UD4, maybe even an Asus board(allthough im still unnerved by their RMA/Support), any advice welcome thx :)

Thx for the replies, wont be needing X-fire or SLI. I think i have got my choices down to these two basicly;

A SATA-II motherboard and SATA-II SSD

Or
A SATA-III motherboard and SATA-III SSD
i5-1.jpg

The first is cheaper, and could be £20 cheaper if the lower model motherboard is in stock, but has less SSD space and wont be able to use an 6Gb/s SSD in the future. But i will be ok with the small ssd for the foreseeable future (wanting it to be an OS drive for now), and get a new ssd with an new intel socket, or pick up a second hand larger SATA-II SSD when i need too.

The second is more expensive, by only just, and the SSD isnt in stock atm. Uses a good SATA-III capable motherboard and 24gig more SSD space, but was only going to install OS+ one game (maybe). The motherboard should be ok useing future 6Gb/s SSD's in the future, which with gpu upgrades, should keep my i5 going for a good two years, i think , or hope :D

I think i might just have to be patient and wait for c300 to come back in stock. Hopeing that i can just upgrade the gpu(+)ssd in 12+ months if its not playing everything i want, to give it abit of snappier performance, and hopeing the i5/ram/mb can still keep up. Could go with the Intel SSD+SATA-III gigabyte MB.. hmmz:confused:

Again, any advice welcome thx :)
