Hey there as some of you may know i won a competition late last month to win my selected choice of BitFenix Spectre LED Fans, I choose 5x120mm Red LED fans.
The fans i am comparing them against are
Stock fans on the CM 690 II
Gelid Silent 12's
And for extra i did a comparison against a Fractal fan i had lying around also
I will start off with photo's of the packaging and what i got
As you can see the BitFenix Spectre's were Nicely packaged and i also got 2 German gaming mags and i also ordered A BitFenix Alchemy Molex to 3pin Adapter @ 12v from OCUK For this test.
So onto my review.
Opening the package i found it comes with the following
Looks pretty nice with the LED tbh
This is the jumper, If you remove it.. the Led's simply turn off. Could be modded quite nicely to any existing case switch (thinking about it on mine
)
But the Hydra does exist (or did) to adjust led brightness to the off setting.
There should be a new product coming for this soon im told.
Like so
Heres a quick one of it off
Next are just afew install shots and side by side comparisons.
I installed the top Fans on rubber mounts as i had some luckily
These certainly shift some air i will say!
Thats were the photos end as i got carried away and forgot to take more :/
I will say they look beautiful though, Are silent as you want them to be, shift a lot of air and with the adjustable led on/off with a upcoming BitFenix Product these fans are excelent!
Pros
Cons
I believe that concludes my review for now.. but im sure ill see something on it in the next few hours/days and i will correct it or add more

Pros
- Silent
- Good light coming off the LED but not too bright
- Led ON/OFF (Soon)
- Look good!
- Price on them is good!
Cons
- Could do with some rubber fan mounts
- Threading screws into them can become abit of a pain
- I wish the cables were braided
