ALmost yes, you can set a DPI up/down button setup or you can assign a button only to loop dpi modes. Each mode is denoted by the LED indicator on the side so the bottom LED is on for mine for 400dpi, bottom 2 on for 600 and all 3 on for 800 while the top 2 for 1000 and top LED for 1200. I only have one button set to cycle DPI and the default DPI buttons are set for pigup and pigdown.

All buttons can be customised estensively and anything you push to the mouse is saved to the mouse so you can use the mouse with your settings on another PC without having to install any software.

Thanks mrk.

I recently purchased a G700, mostly on the strength of this review. I bought it to replace an MX Revolution. I owned an MX1000 before that.

The review is spot on. I'm very pleased with the G700. I really like the shape of it. It feels even more comfortable than the MX Revolution to me. I think it looks a lot better in real life than in photos. I like the textured finish, which I much prefer to the glossy finish on the MX Revolution. It reminds me of a quality SLR camera, and it makes the mouse much easier to hold. The only negative is that I find the USB charging cable less convenient than the charging dock for the MX Revolution, though it does mean you can use the mouse while it's charging. I do like the fact it uses an AA battery, so the rechargeable battery can easily be swapped out.
