So i got this a couple of days ago now and i thought i'd write a little about it...

(Sorry about picture quality, used my phone)

So I really like this mouse especially the size as a lot of mice these days seem to be on the smaller side atleast for someone with larger hands. The new vertical side buttons are a lot easier and convenient to use and the horizontal scroll wheel adds a good amount of functionality.

I tried a few different FPS games like CSS, Crysis, TF2 and L4D and found the wireless connection to have non existent lag, something which i have noticed before as i used to play a lot of CSS in tournaments.

I had a small go and recording macro's with the inbuilt recording system and found it to have some potential for people who widely use such things but for myself i did not really need it. It does however, come with some other interesting little bits like an ingame 180 degree turn button that you make yourself which in some FPS's can be really useful.

There is only really one thing i dont like about this mouse and that is the DPI options which are not as customisable as i would like. The on-the-fly buttons work great but the options for changing the DPI is restricted to reasonably large increments (250 upto 1h in 250 jumps, 1k upto 4k in 500 jumps). I would have liked to be able to make smaller increases but oh well.

So all in all as i said at the start i really like this mouse and if i was to grade it i would give it 9/10.

Cool

Out of interest but what was your previous mouse (well whats your primary comparison for the new one)

And for cool factor here's a picture of my mouse (MS intelimouse the original one)
