If you're not comfortable with OCZ as many people seem not to be (the reason I steered clear of them) then this should be a healthy medium. Low price, higher wattage and respectable brand?

PSU - better PSU for less money
RAM - dual channel for reasons stulid said

other changes were to take advantage of this week only stuff while not reducing performance

Just to add my two cents worth. There's nothing wrong with OCZ power supplies, no idea why they get a bad name. I've used a few.

However I would also favour the Antec, especially at that price. Get it!

As I am so new to all of this I have adopted a no smoke without fire kind of attitude. Basically if there is a general negative feeling towards something then avoid it. Might just be a couple of faults that have given them a bad name to some people and it has just spread or something. I mean, I have no bad experiences with OCZ but don't really want any of their products.

No.
