Is the power supply OTT?

There are bundle deals for the mobo,cpu and ram on OC, are they better value?
 
Bundles don't actually save you any money IIRC they just put some stuff that's guaranteed to work together for those who can't decide.

Yes IMO the PSU is OTT, a corsair 520W is fine even if you decide to put 2 8800GTs.

The mobo is OTT as well a half decent P35 should do the job, no need to spend any more than £100 tbh. I'd be looking at ASUS P5K or Gigabyte P35-DS3R variants.
