Here is close up of the mouse:

I thought I would write a brief review (Key points) of both of these after a week of use for the benefit of the forums.

First I'd like to discuss the....

The corsair K60 Gaming Keyboard:

1. Excellent packaging, overall look and feel of a solid build quality. The shiny areas seen in the picture is all aluminium while the base is solid plastic for lightness.

2. Love the volume rollerball on the top right of the keyboard. Solid feel to them.

3. Keyboard has some American quirks such as the the icon above the 2 is the @ sign but the output is the normal ". Same with the icon above the 3 being a # but its actually the £ sign! @ is labelled as '. Minor complaint however. Big normal Enter key.

4. Grippy space bar. The additional red keys are optional but they feel very grippy and could be very useful for gaming sessions.

5. Cherry Red MX keys: Very smooth and easy to press with little effort. Good feel but no "click" seen in the Cherry Brown keys. Initially I was louder as I was bottoming out the keys, but now I'm adapting.

6. Easy to clean as there is no moulded recess for the keys.

7. Not all keys are mechanical. The function keys as well as the 3X3 keys between the qwerty and number key pads are membrane. Can feel the difference.

8. I really like the additional hand rest in the WASD area, though space may limit the use.

9. The braided cable for the keyboard is over a Pencil thick! Take a look at the picture

10. Finally, wished this had the backlighting of its older sibling (the K90) would make it an ideal keyboard.

A brief review of the Corsair M60 mouse.

1. Looks fantastic, the build quality is good, and the finish is really nice.

2. Plug and play gives functionality to select three DPI levels as well as the SNIPE button which lowers the DPI to annoy to make those good shots

3. Lovely braided USB cable. Another positive in corsairs build quality. 0

4. Good action on the scroll wheel, though I wish it had a infinite spin setting like some Logitech gaming mouse.

5. Gentle blue glow is not very noticeable but can be turned off with the corsair software.

6. Gaming performance seems on par with the Logitech gaming mice, which is very good.

How is the mouse to hold? Seems like all these gaming mice have really odd shapes (I'm still using a bog standard MS mouse).

Keyboard is very nice for typing, the problem being that going back to membrane keyboard feels sticky and spongy. I feel I can surely type faster and more accurately with this one. You do get quickly used to it within a few weeks anyway. But the difference comes when you go back to the bog standard keyboard. Feels like a long term investment in my opinion.
