Hi all,

I've been away from the wonderful world of PC builds for a while, last build was a x2 Athlon.

However although I've been console gaming with a 360 I've got to the point where the only new system that cuts the mustard for what I need is a new PC build.

My basic requirements originally was Intel system 1150 with 8gig ram, ssd and HD and as I don't overclock a certain degree of future proofing.
Graphics wise it had to have enough grunt to play high setting on the following type of games.

Total War series.
World of Tanks/War Thunder
Microsoft flight sim
Sims 3 (this is a given or wife will kill me ;) )
Supreme Commander serious.
Skyrim
Assassins Creed serious.

Budget wise I was trying to squeeze into £500 however I failed drastically as shown below and yesterday those items below where around £580
I,m so open to suggestion as budget was tight to begin with and I'm unsure if this build will gel together well.

Cheers :)

Thx for the advice. Switching the power supply is a definite. Never heard of the ssd make however I'm willing to take a punt as my choice was previously down to a name I knew.
Main item I was unsure about was my choice of M/B as I was limited by budget.

Motherboard is ok, does Crossfire only at 16X/4X, better (expensive) boiards do both SLI+Crossfire at 8X/8X.

SKhynix are a massive RAM manufacturer, you will find their modules on many AMD/Nvidia cards.
