Reving GPU fans

Whenever I start up Rainbow six or sniper ghost worrier. My GPU fans rev for a short second. Ever so often is that a bad thing or a sign it is on its way out? The GPU in question is a Gigabyte 2060 6g twin fan.

Does your GPU have zero rpm mode in idle?

Stick your head in the case and see if the fans are spinning, or download GPU-Z from TPU and check the sensors tab for fan rpm.

It might be worth downloading msi afterburner, you can monitor everything and also create a custom fan curve to avoid the sudden revs.

You can check Gigabyte's website, eg this shows that this model fans are idle at low temps and spin up at heavier loads, GeForce RTX™ 2060 OC 6G (rev. 1.0) Key Features | Graphics Card - GIGABYTE Global

looking at the site it shows that it would spin when needed, so it is just normal in that aspect then. Due to the increase in load then. Thank guys.
