I don't really want to spend more than £700 really so if anyone has any ideas to bring the cost down I'm all ears :) I'm gonna go Xfire with this board when Directx 10 comes along so I just want a card that will run current games at max settings in 1280 x 1024 I am also gonna want to overclock this setup. Will my motherboard choice keep me going for a while cos I'm not gonna have the cash to build a new system for a while to come. Your thoughts are very appreciated :)

Do you really need that PSU? You can get your hands on the ever reliable and super silent Seasonic PSU for a lot less.

edit - sorry You are going to OC :o

I wanted 600w for when I start running two graphics cards. Seasonic equivalent is not much cheaper and I don't think its modular which I want. I've had a look at this, Hiper HPU-4B580 Type R 580W Modular ATX2.2 PSU - Blue (CA-006-HP) but I'm not sure if it has two PCI-E connectors.

I can't see you cutting any more corners than what you have then..

out of interest .. how silent and reliable are those PSUs?

From what I've heard the're quite noisy but reliable. Good price for the power you get! Does anyone know if it has two PCI-E connectors please?
