It may be extremely cheap, but c'mon! I get better read speeds from my mech drives! Seek times are the only benefit this has to offer. I can't see anyone putting a 32GB drive in their single-bay laptop anyway lol.

Gibbo uses an old laptop with an old samsung SSD with similar performance stats and the difference is night and day to a mech drive. access times and small file read/write speeds are vastly superior to a mech drive and it shows.

0.5MB/s read/write on a mech drive in the low end 4k VS a drive that will do 15MB/s+ in the same area? As said.. its night and day.

Max reads and writes may not be the best but the purpose of this drive is not for that.
