hi
have an issue and need to talk to an agent
anyone been successful at this within the app?
i'm hearing it can take days before someone can get back to you
my chat just says 'looking for an agent...' currently

Been fine for me. I messaged them the other day - just keep saying human to the bot and it puts you through to a human after a minute or two.

My issue was i was sick of them sending me notifications about inviting my friends to win prizes. Stop sending me notification and game thingies!

I've not had a problem. Once it tells me it's going to send my request to a human, I just leave a message. They will get back to you and you can check and respond on your own time.

I've found it to generally be very good.

I had an issue a couple of months ago where it got stuck and so I tweeted them, they got back to me and resolved within an hour of my tweet.

ok they finally got back later that day, response time within the revolut app was about 6hrs for me
premium members get first response from what i know, im just a standard user so..
just glad they are now looking into issue

A bit late now perhaps, but this might be useful for others. Start a chat with 'live chat' and you should get to chat to a person right away. I'm only a standard member and that's worked for me each time I've tried.

what happened to me was on holiday. i got revolut just for foreign currency
i went to a cash machine and put in all my details, how much i wanted etc and got near the end where it said they were going to charge for withdrawing money
i decided i'd look for a free ATM and hit 'cancel'. though nothing more of it
then several days after i got back my GBP balance went minus
they had charged me for using the ATM even though i got no cash from it. i've put in a claim but not sure if i'll get anything back
was near £50
happened to anyone?

Something doesn't quite add up there, even if they hit you with charges for using a chargeable ATM, along with any extra currency charges these would no way add upto £50.

Are you sure you'd not accidently confirmed the cash withdrawal, and someone else had stolen the cash?

yes it's the full amount of cash i requested to withdraw and the fee
no, i'm certain i hit cancel as i didn't want to pay the fee
i tried a couple before finding one that didn't charge a fee and i then did withdraw from that

Every time I used revolut, last time i was in London, it was a bit of a pain in some places. Transactions being pulled twice. a cancelled one going through for 5 working days, exchange rates changing from the time of purchase to the time it actually got approved.

None of which was a major issue at the time just meant i had to be awake and check the SMS receipts every time i used it.

You might just get it credited back after 5-7 working days or something.....

I cant fault the card for ease, i dont even bother using my Natwest or Metro bank accounts anymore when in the UK.

Crazy using Revolut considering the other options out there, notably the travel credit cards. This just goes to highlight one of the reasons why.
