Revolver

yeah it was slated woldwide but critics for being 'inaccessible' to the viewer

basically the film was too complex apparently. after hearing the reviews from magazines and a few comments from my mates who had already seen it i figured i wouldnt bother with it

I saw it, and yes, it is soooooo complex, I had to spend an hour on the internet afterwards trying to work out what was going on. It was well shot, but the story line is just really confusing and it isn't explained throughout so you really don't have a clue what is going on.

Ok maybe I'm simple but I watched it through, enjoyed it and reckon that I probably got the gist of it but I doubt I could explain it without a re-watch, it simply wasn't that memorable. :)

Super stylish as excepted from Guy Ritchie but what was going on.

Everytime you thought you were understanding it something else happened.

At the end it was like, duh?

First half was okay, then it all went to crap as Guy Ritchie totally tried to out-intellectualise himself, and eveyone else in the known universe, in a vain attempt to claw back some credibility after his last turkey of a film.

After Lockstock and Snatch he just became pants. Lockstock lead me to believe there was a genius in the making, but unfortunately he is inconsistant :(

Rented it and watched it tonight. I was just wondering if anyone has a clue as to what is going on in that movie.
i was clueless myself..

i was expecting another classic, like Snatch :D

Probably could have been as long as he didn't do what he did.

Maybe he should just start being a director now! The guy definitely knows his visuals. The only thing is there are other directors using his ideas now!
