just finished re-working the front end of my spitfire, absoloute nightmare of a job took me a week. re-wired all the lights as the wiring was decaying away.
removed stupid number plate blocking the airflow into the oil cooler. replaced stupid fog lights with funky little ones. tore out the horrible plastic grill and replaced with alloy mesh with triumph letters worked into it (nightmare to do).
things im not happy about, number plate is squint (tip don't do it in scorching sun, it dries to quick) triumph letters are squint (they took me long enough).

here is after:

Sorry to say this but I think I preferred the numberplate where it was. I think to fix it you're going to have to put racing spots on the bonnet and doors, then you'll need a cage to match, then you'll need a hot head, cam and a set of Webers to back up your claim.

Do it.

:D

Have to agree, original plate looked better. I don't think the pointed nose of the bonnet suits a stick on plate.

Also going to say I preferred it how it looked before, not keen on the new lower bumper, looks like it's sticking its tongue out. (sorry!)

Don't think anythings changed down there? Just the number plate is missing and photo taken at a different angle .

he has added some strange looking aftermarket fogs.

Drop the 'Triumph' tags. Looks silly :o and very, very

You lost the lovely spitty decal too :(

Then again - if ya happy - and good on ya for doing it :)

the triumph letters are going, im not too sure about the sticker number plate but the car runs so much cooler with it.
i have to say i like the cleaner new look of the front.
