Damn i love reyland motors. If i won a large sum of money tomorrow i would be straight on the phone, no doubt..

New wheels, got rid of that ghey sticker, smoothed and colour coded kit.

after seing the pics and some vids before, i was well impressed when i saw the orange metro zooming around castle coombe last sw rsoc regional day. others in my group didnt believe me when i said the metro would be fast :P
 
250bhp Audi lump in a Metro? That mans gotta be some kind of a nutcase! :p

250 bhp to start with. It will be running on a Pectal T2 ecu so i'm sure there will be more power available ;)

:eek: Was that a standard VVC (143bhp aren't they?) engine or was it more powerful?
Looked like the Escort Cossie had to give it everything to get past the Metro on the straight! :)
 
it was around 160 bhp with a few tweaks.

the spec was:-

Hmm....not much over standard then? Few tweaks gave an extra 20bhp nearly. I find myself thinking about buying a 1.4 GSi Metro and sticking a 1.8VVC in!
Them brakes must've been nearly twice the diameter of standard Metro stuff as well!
