If anybody with rFactor doesn't know the Leinz update was released last night. This adds a new track with a number of routes and also so more cars.

This update just builds on the already brilliant rFactor. If we continue to see updates like this and the likes of the PCC, Stock Car, F3 and other mods and add on the game is just going to go from strength to strength.

I'm hooked, I've never had a driving sim which has drawn me in so much, GTR and GTL are good but they don't hold a candle to rFactor. I speed hours learning the tracks and how the different cars respond etc and the driving force pro streering wheel from logitech is also superb.

If you have any interest in driving sims then go and get this its just awsome.

I bought this the other night but i could do with some pointers for new cars and tracks. Also the when going round corners there was a terrible sound which i think was supposed to be the tyres skidding, but i've never heard tyres sound like that before

downloaded it leinz this moring, god damn it good, having so much fun drifting the Kodi round the town and mountain roads, these cars just suit my driving style so well, i felt instantly at home on the track in the kodi.
looks beautiful as well.

i agree Rfactor is a great sim, and ISI's as a company are a top notch bucnh of guys, always looking after there customers.
but at the time being GTL still has my attention, and will continue to do so until the online traffic increases, i still havnt been able to have a decent online race in Rfactor.
hopefully leinz will help a lot in this department though, i'd imagine it'll get a lot more people online, on the same tracks and cars.

There are a few things which the ISI boys have taken onboard which will probabaly help on the online front. The main ones being downloading cars, skins and tracks on the fly from servers.

I'd expected one this patch hits that the online games would increase quite dramatically.

Fantastic Mod for RFactor. Great cars track/tracks feel, it's absolutely superb.
This Mod more than any other has suited my driving style.
Had a couple of races this morning and am stoked. Finally a mod that suits me. I urge all to try this mod ASAP.

There is a post i started on RSC for Noobs to Rfactor.
This contains all you'll need concerning mods tracks cars etc.
Link here and Big thanks to RSC and ISI.

just had a few online races with this update, even more impressed, the cars make for some really good racing.
so much fun, especially when everyone is in the same situation learning the cars and tracks.
RC2 cars are without a doubt the most fun, not too fast and very predictable handling, it annoys me thought that most people go straight for the RC1 when they clearly cant handle it.

I haven't tried online yet as I so crap on my own :) managed to burst both front tyres pilling into the 1st corner, which wasn't a good start espically as I didn't notice the length of the pits on the short town circuit and speed thru them...

Still fantastic game. The F3 and Nippon cars going round the longer tracks are great.

Had an online race last night, despite only qualifying 5th I went on to win, because EVERYONE else had crashed. I won by 5 laps.

People are still jumping into the RC1 and trying to drive it like the open wheelers......

I was playing on R3 and was still rubbish but might try going higher tonight now I'm learning the tracks...Does being rubbish put me off?? not at all its just making me more determined to get better. This hasn't happened on any other race sime I've played.

The new cars are very different to the old ones one, the brakes in particular are a little scary...

i dont touch the races with all cars enabled, all the races i've had were servers allowing only RC2/3, you can be almost guarenteed that the people racing in these servers are a bit more mature.

the first race i tryed was GPshort, evryone else was in RC1 cars, i turned up with an RC3, i tryed to qualify, i had some idiot rear end me full force on the downhill section, then second time i had someone rear end me again on the uphill after the pit straight, quite clear they have no idea how to control that power.
the whole time i was there it waas chaos, people were off everywhere, i left before the race started,
