Does the game have much legs in single player?

Also, if I download numerous tracks, can I create my own "Season" and play through that season with with a specially made championship of my own choosing with rFactor working out Points/Standings for drivers and constructors etc at the end of each race?

If you won't be doing any online racing at all and don't think you would want to race with any of the F1 / Nascar / karting / fantasy mods out for rFactor, then I'd say that GTR2 would be the better choice as the AI is generally better. With some rFactor mods / tracks, the AI needs to be trained before it'll run a good race, whereas GTR2s' just seems to work better ' out-of-the-box '. If you can afford it, I'd buy both ( just don't touch RACE :p )

Not 100% sure about GTR2, but in rFactor you could use either the ' All Car Challenge ' mod :

Or rFactors' built-in ' All Cars / Tracks ' mod to let you select which car series race against one another in a championship.

You could then use this :

To edit what tracks / layout you run in the championship.

Thanks for the replys.

Really want to Race F1 cars with the option of racing other cars as well.

Online play would be nice to. Does GTR2 have good online support and good mods?

I am really liking some of the mods for rFactor.

Currently playing F1 challenge and loving it.
