rFactor where to put code?

just purchased rfactor online and received an email with an activation number in it, where do i put this?

ahh figured it out, i just needed to restart it hehe doh

Can I ask how you bought rFactor?

It seems there are 2 ways of buying it - either by Paypal or from the TryMedia site, is there any advantage to either one? The numerous threads on RSC about unlocks/activation codes etc left me thoroughly confused!

It seems that if I choose to but the game via Paypal and pay in US dollars rather than pounds then it's just over £20 rather than £24.99 - seems like a bargain to me unless I'm missing something...?
