hi all,

just wondering if any one else uses RFID for home automation or anything else. I have a tag in my right hand and i am now able to log onto windows by just placing my hand over the reader :D

had it for just over 4 months now, it was implanted via a hollow needle pushed through the skin then the tag pushed down the needle into the skin and creating a pocket for it, it sits between my thumb and first finger.

The possibilities for stealing RFID tagged razor blades from Tesco's are almost limitless.

And the failure rates I'm seeing with supermarket suppliers with the tags in stickers on the ends of BOC trays would suggest your tag won't last long.

Mine is the same as they tag cats and dogs with and you don't see high failure rate with them

I would be very interested for security applications - i currently work in quite a secure building with biometrics, an rfid chip might be an interesting concept for logging onto the machines.
