Have you got all the latest updates installed?? Should be done in Game when you select online MP. Also check in the FAQ theres a list of ports you need to make sure are open on your router.

Is anyone else still having these issues? I just got this game today but when I try to access online multiplayer so I can download the rumble patch, I keep getting a network connection error. Really annoying.

Well I've descovered the reason behind my probs its my router I have a DG834PN Netgear and it don't like the PS3

I really want sony or netgear to resolve it

Spookily, as soon as I wrote my message, the damn thing connected and worked! After trying all day!
