RGB 6x Corsair fans and a Corsair RGB Hiub issue

Only 4 of the fans are lighting up. The hub has 6 connected up but only 4 are lit up, all have power. Hub plugged into jcorsair 1 port and powered by SATA

Any advice ?

Not yet as it’s not built softwise wise. Just turning it on

installed win 11 and msi control centre with mystic lights but only 4 of the fans work across ports 1-4 on the hub - 5 and 6 not working. Fans are ok as I have tried them in ports 1-4 but 5 and 6 dead

What kind of fans are they? (QL? LL?). Some older Corsair hubs have a hard limit on how many LEDs they can control so it may be that there are limits on the jcorsair header too - otherwise I suppose the hardware could be mis-detecting how many LEDs there are and only powering upto a certain number: What happens if you swap fan 5 (currently not lighting up) for fan 2?

Yes I did that and the fans are ok but now of a dude. None of the fans are lighting up at all . I think the RGB hub is faulty ?

I can only get four of the fans working after uninstalling the software and reinstalling it. I have a PWM cable extender - that wouldn’t be the issue but it’s only for power

Aha - looks like mystic lights needs it to be set to LL and one of the fans isn’t working so swapped it fir one that is
