Hope someone can help.

I got Crucial Ballistix RGB 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Desktop Gaming Memory (Black) for my son's PC which has an ASRock A520m-hdv motherboard.

Crucial website said it was 100% compatible but I am unable to control the RGB lighting with the Ddr4 M.O.B. software from Crucial and it just cycles through different colours.

It's not the end of the world if it can't be controlled but I was wondering if this a limitation with the motherboard or an issue with the software/RAM?

Grateful for any advice.

Thanks for your reply. I had heard some people were using Asus armoury crate as a workaround but wasn't sure if it was the limited functionality of the motherboard or not that was the problem.

Same here - I use Asus Aura for mine. X99 boards in particular are hideously incompatible with this RAM, despite what Crucial's website said at the time. They've now fully acknowledged this incompatibility, which is definitely CB MOD software related since other brands of software can control it just fine, but since the RAM is discontinued, they don't really give a ****.
It's a real shame, as the DDR3 version was awesome and their MOD has some unique patterns, which is why I bought the DD4 CBTT in the first place.
