Love it or hate it, RGB is a mainstay of the PC gaming market. Phanteks have already enjoyed a successful suite of RGB products including their original RGB strips, and Halos RGB fan frames. Now, we have the Digital range. The Phanteks Digital range is a full set of addressable RGB products, including Halos Digital 12cm/14cm fan frames (both aluminium Lux versions and normal versions), Digital RGB LED strips and for those who do not have an addressable motherboard yet, a Digital RGB Controller Hub. This means that you don't need motherboard support in order to enjoy addressable RGB goodness. If you do have one though, all Phanteks D-RGB products sync up perfectly with both Asus Aura and MSI Mystic Light Sync.

Starting with the Digital RGB Controller Hub, we have an attractively priced way of adding Phanteks Digital RGB products to your system without the need for an addressable RGB motherboard. With the ability to add up to 9 D-RGB products via daisy chain, this should satisfy anyone looking for comprehensive RGB coverage, especially considering most addressable motherboards can only handle 3 addressable products. With a remote control for manual use and a motherboard adapter cable for an addressable motherboard, either way you are covered. Next, we have the Halos Digital fan frames. Building on the popular Halos RGB fan frames, the digital versions add addressable goodness to either the Lux (aluminium) or normal models. The Lux versions are available in both gunmetal and black equivalents, in 120mm or 140mm sizes.

For those looking for RGB strips, Phanteks have you covered. The Digital RGB Combo Set comes with a pair of 40cm D-RGB strips, each with 30 addressable LED diodes. These are compatible with both the Phanteks D-RGB Controller Hub and addressable compatible motherboards, and are magnetic, along with adhesive strips for those with aluminium cases. I prefer mine set to White LED and left static, but there is a large market for these kind of products and Phanteks are getting the products spot on for that demand.
 
I've got the fan frames & really like them, worth bearing in mind the effect obviously depends on the colour of the blades though.
 
Whats the difference between these frames the other phantek ones? Apart from the higher price.

Theres also normal and LUX ones - again not sure of the difference

Do you need an RBG header on your motherboard to use these or can you buy some sort of adapter to use with the NZXT Hue for example?
 
Digital models are addressable RGB's, normal versions are not.
Lux = aluminium, normal are plastic

You either need a motherboard with an addressable function or you can buy the Phanteks Digital RGB controller hub. It won't work with the NZXT Hue.
