RGB Fans Setup Trouble

My case and CPU cooler RGB fans don't see to be visible for any settings. I'm trying to change the RGB settings for them, but it's as if they aren't there. Currently they are functioning with the default rainbow colors cycling.

Originally I installed and used the Gigabyte control center, and RGB fusion. I had them working on there for a time, but then they disappeared. I have since uninstalled and reinstalled GCC a couple times, RGB fusion as well with no change.

Anyone have any suggestions for a solution?

Case: Lian Li LANCOOL 216 RGB ATX Mid Tower Case
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB 66.17 CFM
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2 ATX AM5

I gave up with having multiple bits of software to control ARGB and used to use OpenRGB to control my fan colours and it worked a treat for me. There's also Signal RGB which I believe is used by quite a few on here. Since my recent pc upgrade though I have been using Windows 11 Dynamic Lighting function to control my ARGB fan colours.

A word of advice regarding your siggy, we are only allowed four lines of text so you should change it before a over zealous mod decides to nuke it.

Bog standard plugged into motherboard headers stuff
As Pastymuncher said
Windows 11 dynamic lighting probably pick it up
But it has a small handful of not impressive effects
Unless you just want a solid colour
If not yeah openrgb would be next probably

For more complicated stuff
The free version of signal rgb is best there is
It will even offer and attempt to close conflicting software/processes
That might cause lighting conflicts
Will pick up rgb fan controllers like lian li etc
Got about 7 different manufacturers leds in my build
It controls all of them
Got dozens of free effects built into it

Gigabyte rgb fusion used to be total ####
Not used it in a few years though

I have the same:
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2 ATX AM5
But my case is Montech Sky Two which has 4 pmw fans.
On the Gigabyte website there is an update for GCC which was added on the 27 Nov to fix the issue. I’ve downloaded it but can’t install it. As on the GCC it’s only picking up my MB. So not sure what to do now?

Update:
When I originally tried OpenRGB, it only saw the memory. I'm not sure what changed from that time to when I took that screenshot. OpenRGB now is able to see the lights connected to the mobo. I tried signalRGB and that as well is working and what I'm currently going with for the moment. the Gigabyte software is fully removed from my system. GCC was terrible, and I'm glad I have no use for it now. Thanks for those that provided feedback. :D

Company the size of gigabyte
And can't manage to make a simple rgb software
Pretty shocking
Doesn't sound like it improved since I last used it

Signal rgb still surprises me
That there's even a free version at all
It's miles ahead of anything else
If you dig into all of it you can even individually "paint"
Every single led
Though I just use the free/community presets as loads of them
They also regularly update new hardware database
And anything it sees but can't identify
I just add as a custom led strip which works fine
Just need to alter the amount of leds in the custom strip
Until all the leds on the unknown device are lit

Don't know why Microsoft don't buy Signal rgb
Instead of trying to start windows dynamic lighting from scratch

Main thing is you got it working in the end

Long shot, but you're not Zarathuztra from OCNZ and ON3 forums / NZ in general are you?
