Hey everyone.

I was hoping for a bit of help. I've built my missus a PC on a bit of a budget so she can try playing certain games.

Now I wanted to make it pretty for her so went for a bit of RGB. She has a kolink case and an RGB fan which work fine but the issue lies with the RGB Raijintek CPU cooler which is ARGB and 2 razor extreme ARGB fans. Both the cpu cooler, the 2 fans on the radiator and the 2 other fans are all powered on and working bar the lights.

The motherboard is a Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 7 which has had full ARGB working on it before but for the life of me I cannot get it to work with the above. It all requires a add_header fan port but there isn't one on the board.

Does anyone have an alternative for the port which give +5v of power to the fans?

Thanks.

Just to add I have tried it in every sys fan port available to no joy.

I would assume you need an ARGB fan controller which you can then plug into the ARGB header on the motherboard all your ARGB fans strips etc would then need to connect to the controller.

My ARGB controller connects via Sata for power, and USB 2.0 socket on mobo so you can control via iCue

Thanks lads. I think it worked last time as my cooler master setup had a controller which plugged into sata power and sys fan port so bought something similar.

Wish me luck!
