Does anybody know the max length of an rgb strip that is powered from a motherboard header

The recommendation is 2M max, it may work with longer lengths but the brightness will be lower.

Ok cool wanting to run a strip out the back of my case then along the back of my desk which is 1.5m so no problems there

I expect just because there is only a certain amount of power provided.
