RGB Lighting Ruins Immersion

A single UV cold cathode is more than enough. Even UV LED strips are too much for me. Just the right amount of light with a CC tube. Not sure if you can even get them now.

You know I had a pc I built with one of those and it had a UV reactive clear plastic case. Was very nice.

I'm guessing you were born some time after Tron stopped being the coolest thing ever?
Tron's great but do you really want the distraction and noise at head height.

You gotta wonder who they are really putting the case there for. also its cooler at floor level probably by a good few C in summer.

When I'm gaming I'm far too concerned with the guy shooting at me to care about a dim flickering light waaaaaaay over in the extreme of my peripheral vision.

Mine's too big to go on a normal sized desk. It has it's own side unit.
Also, floor height is way dustier and more of a faff if you ever want to upgrade something.

I like the rgb but turn it off before an immersive gaming session. I've even covered any little leds eg amp power indicator. As well as the distraction from the game, I also found that the rgb ever so slightly raised the blacks on my qd oled. Not having that! :D

Low blue backlight on the keyboard and on my mouse so I can see them in the dark

No other lights about, just black components behind the glass panel.

I don't want peripheral distraction when I'm gaming.
