rgb lights stopped working on aorus pro b450 itx

they were working till yesterday and now dont seem to work at all and ive gone through the various modes in rgb fusion, what could be the cause of this?


yesterday i did try to connect my rgb case fan to a rgb header using the 3 pin as well as molex to see if these things were controllable, i heard a pop which sounded like the psu and so it shut off, i disconnected the 3 pin and it worked and no problem with the system itself, couldnt say i noticed an issue with the lights as i had it set to music which i wasnt listening to, so of course they were off and then today as soon as i opened fusion there was an update, so i dont know if that did anything? bios reset did nothing, but bios is F2, dont know what the latest is and if it matters.

hearing a loud pop , specially with a psu is never a good thing

just a uphere branded one, was a pack of 3, only using the one in this case for the obvious, they have been fine even if they not quiet lol.

to be fair when i was using my evga supernova in another case i tried the same thing with the fans and i heard a pop, but the b350m i have doesnt support rgb, i was plugging in the 3 pin connector to see if i could control the fan speed as the molex is just to light it up. it would seem you cant use both, i dont know if thats normal or just not the sort of fans to do it with!.
