I am using 2 identical AOC Q27G3XM monitors on Windows 11 set up as dual monitors. Both using DP connection.

Monitor 1 is my main monitor with the taskbar etc.

I notced yesterday that in NVIDIA control panel under "Change Resolution" Monitor 1 only has the option of YCbCr422 and not RGB.

If i tab onto Monitor 2 it has the choice of RGB, YCbCr422 and YCbCr444

Both monitor settings are exactly the same and also the same in windows settings.

I have no clue why?

Yes, both are G-Sync enabled exactly the same. But not same brand DP cables. Monitor 1 actually has the better cable as monitor 2 has the cable that came with the monitor and Monitor 1
a better one i purchased to replace the damage original.

Well, I unplugged the DP and plugged it into a different DP port. My screen just flashed red, white then back and forth with no desktop. I had a short panick, plugged it back into the original slot. My desktop returned (Phew) and low and behold RGB is now an option for both monitors!!!! Fathom that one out...lol

Further confusion, i stated above i thought it was fixed. Upon turning my PC on the following day it reverted back to YCbr422. If i remove the cable from the PC and replace it I can again select RGB but only until my PC is restarted. So i assumed it was a faulty cable and ordered a new one only to face the same problem this morning?
