Is this possible?

I've tried everything but still no picture

I have one of these

That plugs into my sky box, then i have a rgb cable running into the component connector in the back of my 2405, nothing?

Any ideas please as i'm running around in circles here :(

Err, that device converts composite video enabled SCART into component video. It doesn't convert the RGB signal. Says so right in the advertising you've copied and pasted.

A composite video feed is not going to look very good at all. You will either get dot-crawl or just plain old fuzzy red edges. We won't even mention the colour blue ;)

What you really, really do need is a HD-Ready Sky box which already has component video outputs. Beg, borrow and sell your favoured relatives in order to get one.

Yeah using composite now and it looks naff :(

How about those rgb xcart to component converter? Cost about £70

Any good or not worth it?

Not sure if this will work, so look for someone to to agree, but what about a scart to svideo converter? Worst comes to the worst you could possibly use video on a graphics card or something.
