Ordered my lovely x99 build yesterday with awesome customer service from ocuk;)

But dpd have failed again, upgraded my delivery option for delivery between 8:30 - 10:30 and boom its not here

Called them up, apparently their conveyor belt has broken and they're only just loading up the vans. Thats strange as on the tracking information it says it only arrived in my local depot at 10am.

They're refunding my £10 upgrade, better not deliver when i'm on the school run. Really wanted this build before my wildchild is back

At least your order is close to you.. Mine is 'Still in process'.. I ordered it a week ago now, It's only the fittings to finish my loop but still annoying!

You should still have the link to follow the driver so you can atleast try working out if they'll attempt whilst your on school run.

Where-abouts is the delivery centre? If its near me, I'll give DPD a miss at that rate!

about 20-25 minutes drive.

guy on the phone said its because the belt feeder for the packages died, but then why did it only arrive at 10am at the local depo. Hmm shady

DPD let me down big style on the PS4 release date.

Booked the day off work like a geek. Sat watching the tracking on the gps and grew with excitement as the van entered my road on the map. Worryingly ten minutes passed and i couldnt see the van out my window. I checked the tracking system online and it had changed to customer not in, card left!

Amazingly i was sat at the window so i was definitely in and no card was left. I managed to get a customer service number who called the driver direct to bring the package to me. he stated he was too busy and id have to get it from the depot. no reason given as to why he hadnt bothered to even try my address.

The next day i attended the delivery depot and they firstly stated that i couldnt collect the parcel without a card. Thankfully i had requested that the customer service rep from the day before emailed me our conversation to prove my issues. it then took them an hour to find my parcel as it was not where it should have been. I honestly think someone was trying to have it away. really didnt make sense.

Its because their drivers are all self employed and have a few minutes to deliver each parcel, if he was running late he skipped you to make up time the *******.

Anyway here is an update.

THEY DID NOT DELIVER TODAY, all because a main conveyor belt died even though today i have seen two dpd vans delivering to local mechanics near mine.

i wasn't even allowed to collect from the local depot because they f'd up so many peoples deliveries and had too many people coming up. I'm now "prioritized" for a Saturday delivery, complete joke!!

Same thing happened a few months ago when i ordered my 980ti from ocuk. Paid the £10 for early morning delivery, they did drop it off the same day but 3 hours late! Refunded me for then and today:rolleyes:

That's seriously poor!!

Not quite the same but I'm expecting a new mouse to be delivered tomorrow, let's hope I don't have to suffer the same :(

Sorry to hear that OP!

Do you blame the driver or the employer? UK in general, many companies are run by people with absolutely no interest in staff or customer.

And it's only going to get worse.

Thing that really annoyed me, is that i called customer services (12pm) and the guy said it would be delivered in the afternoon, called them again (4pm) and was told its now a Saturday delivery.

This is the Snetterton depot in Norfolk. Got my revenge with a 1* google review

I have never had an issue with dpd. Its the same with everything though, there will always be a negative experience but I'm glad there aren't many with dpd.
