Rhossilli, Worms Head

Quality photographs dude. Such good colours and a lovely scenery. I love the effect of long exposure, makes the water look like a blanket of fog.
Top effort!!!

Great shots indeed ! Love them all but especially Num 1. I was at Wormshead / Rosilli Bay about a month ago and it's a great area for photographs. I can even see the rock my friend and I got stranded on when the tide came in behind us in the 2nd one ;) Not fun I assure u !

I had 2 kids with me at the time so I couldn't sit around and do shots like this but I'm going to go back if this is what can be achieved with patience and skill :)

Some nice shots there

Do you prefer the use of soft grads over hard ones? I just got myself a set of filters to start of with:

.9 ND
.9 GND hard
.6 GND soft

Was told and read a lot saying these covered most bases but was wondering if I should get the reverse of the GND's as well (.6 hard and .9 soft) before I go away in 2 weeks?!

for those of you who want to know what the whole thing looks like

As the Lee filters are so damned expensive I only got the soft grad set. Made this decision based on the fact that I don't just shoot sunsets and seascapes. Professionaly I do Interiors and Exteriors for Posh estate agents, so the soft grads were the ideal choice as i there isn't always a definate dividing line between sky and land/sea.

I think the filters you've chosen there should suit most circumstances, and you can always stack them.

Lovely light. Maybe a bit too hazey, but still nice. Not sure about the composition, it could maybe do with the foreground swinging along the whole of the bottom of the picture to help frame it a bit more. Just imo though. :)
