The Jam legend Rick Buckler dies as bandmates devastated by tragic news

Rick Buckler was the drummer for The Jam from its formation in the early 1970s through to its break up in the early 1980s.

I used to love early Jam (first 3 albums) and saw them 5 times during those periods.
Damn fine drummer.

The Jam were a large part of the soundtrack to my youth - I only got to see them once on their last tour, but they were fantastic. RIP Rick, 69 is too young to go.
