I went into my router's config, I checked the "Enable UPnP Services" box, and now it won't accept the password to enter its configuration! It used to be username: blank, password: admin, but now it seems to have changed itself simply by enabling UPnP!!!

The manual's no help, more useless than an asthmatic vacuum cleaner... Any ideas apart form resetting the router to factory settings?

Try switching the router off and back on again, failing that I don't see that you can do anything but reset to factory settings.

You should probably change the password from the default while you're at it.

Why? Would a hacker need to use the router's config password to break into my network?

EDIT: Also, resetting to factory defaults really should be the last resort cause I'd kinda LIKE to have UPnP and a hard reset would turn it off again

This is all VERY strange! I think I'll just reset it and be done with it... if I desperately need UPnP in the future I'll try enabling it again and hope that this time, like shine's it won't change it on its own
