Rifle/sub question

really??? when it comes to the l85a2 only stoppages i ever suffer from are due to damaged magazines mainly the lips at the top.
if maintained and prepped properly the rifle itself is very reliable.
and as far as reloading goes, never had any issues:confused:
in my experience the MAJORITY but not all of the L85 and L86 series unreliability issues come down to neglect.
but it is fair to say that its not as squaddy proof as other similar weapons systems, and it is relatively heavy.

me too i have never had a problem as such with this rifle when i served. Also i still get to fire a few rounds a year with it ; )

Twin RCP90's surely would be better?

lucky you :) i've not had access to a range for quite some time :(

actually, the P90's lethal all the way out to 200 meters or more, which is far longer than the range of the puny 9x19mm used in almost all MP5s. additionally, the P90 is a PDW, not a submachine gun, they're for different purposes. furthermore, the P90 is made by FN and the MP5 is made by H&K, two entirely separate companies, so the P90 isn't replacing the MP5 in the slightest.

in actual fact, the UMP was intended to replace the MP5 because it's cheaper, lighter, more accurate and fires a more modern round (.40S&W)

lastly, faster rate of fire is a bad thing, it means that you have more recoil (so less accuracy) and you waste more ammo faster.

But can I use it with a tactical knife?
