Rift performance opinions!

Hey guys!

brought rift ages ago when it was on steam sale but have yet to play it!

i currently have a 6950 2gb card and have an i5 2500k, 8gb ram, and a z68 mobo on the way (should arrive tomorrow)

how should this set up run with rift? decent fps?

It is optimised quite well if I remember correctly. I have a Intel core 2 Duo at 1.86 Ghz, 2 GB ram and a 5450 and could still run it at a decent quality and frame-rate.

You should be able to play on atleast medium, but most likely on high and still decent fps.
 
Apart from big Rift events it ran well on my Dell L501x laptop at ultra (had i7 740QM, and 2GB GT435m)
 
Yeah Rift is terrifically well optimised. My embarrassingly low-spec rig can run it on medium at 1600x900 without breaking a sweat. In fact it does a good job at high as long as I don't use dynamic shadows.
