Hey all,
I took delivery of the Rift today! Super excited! However, I’m struggling at the first hurdle
I went through the setup, but I keep getting the “Poor tracking Quality” on both sensors. I’ve tried the headset and two sensors on all different combinations of USB but still get the same thing. The only other USB devices I have are the keyboard and mouse - and I’ve even tried without them plugged in.
I’ve gone past the window a few times and got to the VR setup, pointed at the spheres and then got teleported into the room with the robot. Managed to hang in that room for a couple of minutes before the Tracking went haywire and I couldn’t continue any further.
I’ve tried updating drivers and BIOS. I’ve also tinkered with the power settings to no avail.
Bit gutting since when it worked perfectly I was absolutely blown away!!
I’ve got a few things I still need to try, but thought I’d post to see if anyone has any tips.
My motherboard is an ASUS Z170-A (Also, as I side note - It has a USB3.1 port which, after a drive update, has now completely stopped working Not going well is it? Haha)
Thanks,
Marky
